The Trane Technologies value chain with corresponding three pillars of Sustainability Commitments

We find solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges by innovating sustainable solutions, giving back to our communities, and changing our industry for the better. Our 2030 Sustainability Commitments cover our entire value chain and are categorized into three focus areas, Gigaton Challenge, Leading by Example, and Opportunity for All.

We commit to reducing one billion metric tons of carbon emissions from our customer footprint by 2030 through our Gigaton Challenge.
We commit to Leading by Example through responsible operations.
And we commit to creating Opportunity for All by taking care of our employees and supporting the communities we serve.

In addition to the goals outlined in our 2030 Sustainability Commitments, we are committed to a 2050 net-zero target that has been approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative and is in alignment with the latest guidance from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Race to Zero campaign. Trane Technologies commits to reach net-zero GHG emissions across our value chain by 2050 from a 2019 baseline.
