The right to vote is fundamental to American democracy. Over our history, voter suppression has taken on many forms and has often limited the voice of Black Americans and other minorities.
Trane Technologies is committed to enabling Opportunity for All. Any legislation or efforts to restrict or suppress the voting rights of any group are inconsistent with our values. We join the 72 Black business leaders who are calling for action by the business community to oppose legislation that limits all Americans’ ability to vote.
As Chair of the National Association of Manufacturers, I ask my fellow manufacturing and other business leaders to take action with their state legislators to work toward fair and equitable access and opportunity to vote.
